Halloween Season!

We are beginning the celebrations of Halloween! I promise I'll bring my camera for all our next festivities (I wish I had for these)!

On Saturday, Ty and I went to the lake with they guys he sold with last semester. It was freezing and I ended up staying in the boat (no 50 degree water for me, thank you). We had fun though and I enjoyed watching the boys wakeboard.

On Saturday night, we went to Haunted Forest in American Fork with Courtney and Marc and it was a blast! I love haunted houses! Before that we went to Bajio for dinner and then after we went to Sub Zero to get ice cream. In the spooky mood, we then went to rent the movie Halloween and went back to our house to watch it. It was a fun night! I love the fall!

Last night, Heather and Casey and their kids came over and we did tie die Halloween shirts for FHE. Heather got us all white shirts from American Apparrel and then we tie died them orange! We put them in the washer and then today we will put jack o' lantern faces on them!

I'll put up pictures of Tyler and I in our shirts when we are done :)

Fall has Begun

Here is a picture of Maui...all things have a time and it's Fall time now. I'm going to embrace each turning leaf and look forward to each season! (and lets be honest...look forward to summers ahead because it's my favorite time!)

Well, school has started which has resulted in a lack of extra time of any sort. Holy cow. It's amazing how much time I spend doing homework and reading for school but it really is important to my future career and I am learning a lot. It is exhausting work, but things that I need to know, so I keep pressing onward!

Some of the things we've been up to:

- Dinner at CPK and hiking to the Spanish Fork hot springs with Ash and Bobby...so fun and luckily we didn't see any naked people! (This place has a reputation of always having nudist people laying about...awkward)

- Game night with Ash and Bobby...we played Phase Ten and Ashley made delicious cookies!

- BYU game vs. UCLA in which we trashed them....59-0! It was so fun!

- Happy Sumo with Ash, Bobby, and some other people we might sell with this next summer. It was really fun and we got to the know the manager, etc!

- Tepanyaki with the Parcells for Heather's birthday! Mmm.....our cook was really good and funny. The last time we went we got a guy who hated women and spoke out against dating. Interesting....this time was fabulous and the food was TDF (to die for).

- Watched Baby Mama and thought it was hilarious

- Cooked herbed salmon one night with rice and brocolli (mmm I really love to cook!) and tonight I cooked spaghetti with peaches and brocolli

-Went to my first Enrichment in my new ward and we learned how to cook various foods as we ate them...I can't wait to try them out. Count yourself one of the lucky few if you get to take part ;)

- Ty and I got ice cream at Sub Zero where they freeze your choices of ice cream right in front of you with liquid hydrogen. It's so cool! I got pumpkin yogurt with gummy bears (ha) and Tyler got premium mint chocolate chip (his fav)

- Just finished working on accounting for two hours...school school school school! Looking back on everything though, we sure are able to fit in some fun things although I do work a lot. Work hard, play hard. That's our motto.

We hope everyone else is having a good start to the Fall!

Upcoming: Pictures of our new apartment! (sorry it's taken me so long mom!)

Campire, tinfoil dinners and guns with Ashley and Bobby!

We finally get to start hanging out with Ashley and Bobby!! Yay! Last night we went to the other side of the lake and shot guns (okay, the boys shot guns), cooked tin foil dinners and s'mores and talked and caught up with each other! We had such a good time and look forward to many more adventures with this fun couple!

This is Tyler and Bobby walking around looking for things to shoot
We thought it would be funny, as a joke, to wrap a frozen burrito in tinfoil and say that was our tinfoil dinner :) It got charcoaled! For our real dinner we also wrapped corn on the cob up in tinfoil and chicken, potatoes and carrots in other tinfoil for our dinner. It was delish!

My wild hunter

Messy campfire hair, but oh so worth it!

Bobby decided to take a spin in the shallow shore of the lake. He got stuck but got himself out eventually. It was pretty fun to watch and Tyler was cracking up!
Ashley found a double connected bag of 'mallows in the store and couldn't pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity!
