He knows just how to make me smile...

These are from my Valentine. He said he had a surprise for me in his car so I went to his car to find these in the front seat. How lucky am I to have such a wonderful husband?

I have truly been overwhelmed lately about how grateful I am for everything I have. I couldn't want or need anything else. I have my health, I have food to eat every day, and I have people who love me unconditionally. I have fun things to look forward to and a beautiful, warm house that I feel secure in. I don't know why the Lord chose to bless me with all that I have, but I always want Him to know that I am fully aware of my blessings and I feel so grateful. There are so many people in this world who would kill to be in my shoes, and I hope that I can bless the lives of others in various ways.

Happy Valentine's Day!

So, this past week I surpassed my goal and went to the gym 5 times! I highly recommend going to classes (body pump, turbo kickbox, etc.) because the teachers push you so hard and you get such a great workout. AND have a workout buddy, like Catherine! We met this summer in Dallas when our husbands were selling, and we started going to the gym together. It's great! On Thursday I went to my monthly quilting class with my ward. We are each making our own baby quilt and doing a little bit every month so it's not too overwhelming. Thanks Jennifer! You're a great teacher! :) This weekend Tyler and I went to Osaka's Japanese Restaurant with our friend's Marc and Courtney and then we watched a movie at our house. On Saturday night we saw April Ann at the Hale Center Theater and it was a fun play! Superbowl Sunday was spent at his parent's house where we ate homemade bread, beef soup, and banana cream pie. Yummalicious.

Last Weekend!

Last weekend was a lovely one! Tyler had an overnight cabin thing with his priests so my mom and sister, Jocelyn came over and we watched Michael Jackson's "This Is It" and it was soooo good for the second time! I danced and danced, of course. :) Previously that day we went to lunch at Ruby River and it was delish. On Saturday night we went to CPK for Lindsay's "friend" birthday dinner and then went to the BYU/Utah basketball game which was very fun because it was sold out and crazy! On Monday we went to Tepanyaki for Lindsay's "family" birthday dinner and it was to die for. Yum yum - if you haven't been there I recommend it for a special occasion. Happy birthday Lin!

(p.s. I just realized that I go out to eat a lot - what can I say, I like to eat!)
