The next day we woke up and walked around the shops a bit more. It was all so charming! We went on a short scooter ride on a scooter than some other people on the trip had rented. After that it was time to say goodbye to our gorgeous Sorrento so we hopped on a bus and rode through the gorgeous countryside to a hotel near the airport and had dinner there. The next day we woke up at the crack of dawn and then took a flight to Paris and then home!

Amalfi and our last day in Sorrento
We had breakfast at the hotel then got on a bus and drove along the Amalfi coast which was the most beautiful scenery you can ever imagine. We stopped for an hour at a ceramic shop then went to Amalfi for a few hours. We had a calzone for lunch and I found another lemon slushi. I crave those now! We walked around the shops and bought some cute pasta and olive oil containers. That evening we had dinner with one of the owners of the insurance company we went with and then walked around the shops and got gelato. Tyler bought me an Italian purse that night that I had been eyeing for our 5th anniversary which I absolutely love!

Pompeii and Sorrento
We woke up in Rome and had breakfast at the hotel then boarded our bus to Pompeii. Pompeii is the city that was completely covered by ash from the volcano. The countryside on the way there was really pretty. We got off the bus when we arrived and saw the largest lemons we had ever seen! We took a tour around Pompeii which was huge. We went through their social areas, like play houses and also their dwellings. After the tour we went to a restaurant right outside o Pompeii and had the best meal so far. We had pizza and a delicious salad with fruit. There was a shop with all sorts of lemon things in it, including a ton of alcoholic limoncello. They are famous for that drink there and throughout the whole time in southern Italy they offered that everywhere. I got a lemon slush outside of the shop in this cute stand and it was SO GOOD. I could have eaten three. We boarded the bus again then started driving on the gorgeous Amalfi coast. When we saw the ocean everyone gasped. It was so stunning I can't even express it! I couldn't keep my eyes of the coast the whole bus ride.

Capri, Italy - our 5th anniversary!
Our anniversary this year was unreal! We woke up and had breakfast, then walked down to the pier to take a ferry over to Capri. When we got there we rented a private boat to drive around the whole beautiful island. Before we got on we stopped at a store to get snack and the most delicious strawberries I have ever had. It was surreal! We got off and walked up to this cave that had stalagmites and was beautiful.
When we got off the boat we took a taxi all the way up close to the top of the mountain. It was crazy because we were on the edge of the cliff as we drove up. When we got there we took a chairlift up to the very top to see around the entire island from the top. We only wish we would have had more time to walk more around the city! We saw some of the shops but it was just so quaint and lovely I could have stayed there forever. When we were going up on the chair lift we passed above cute little hillside gardens. It's amazing how they can grow onto steps on the hills like that.
After we took the ferry back to Sorrento we changed and took a short bus ride up the hill to our hotel's sister hotel where we had dinner overlooking the city and the ocean. It was such a perfectand romantic anniversary!
I love Tyler so much and am so glad that our love and marriage just get better and better. He makes me laugh so hard and is always so positive. I always tell him that he is my angel which I know sounds cheesy but I really feel like he is! He is my sunshine whenever I am having a hard time. I feel like we really balance each other because I can get take life a little too seriously sometimes and he helps me to not worry about the little things. Boy am I sure glad I choose him!
