Nordstrom is going well! I sold $1,916 today! I have been hanging out with my mom and shopping at Ann Taylor (discount!). We went to Pei Wei last week. I LOVE that restaurant. It is the same food as P.F. Chang's only it is more fast food style. Tyler and I went on a date on Saturday night to Texas Roadhouse. We had my mom and Katelyn over for dinner last night and we had Poppyseed Chicken. If you need a yummy, easy recipe just let me know :) We then went down to the pool and put our feetsies in.

I have had a very fun summer so far in Texas but I just realized something...I miss hanging out with my husband! His job totally sucks! Ha ha. He doesn't get home until around 10:30 every night, including Saturdays. On Saturdays he works from 9-10:30. We never get to do anything fun together! I miss going on fun dates! He doesn't have his office meeting until noon during the week but there is nothing really great to do in the mornings. Hmmm....we're thinking this will be our last summer doing this though so that's good! :)

Nordstrom here I come

Two jobs and a month later, I got the job at Nordstrom!!! I interviewed there realizing that a part time job would not suffice me this summer due to my lack of liking to relax. I mean, I don't mind the occaisional lay-out by the pool, thrilling summer read, or So You Think You Can Dance episode. In fact, I love things like that but only every now and then. After 22 years of my life, it is definitely decided that I am a busy-a-holic. Okay, you could call it a work-a-holic. I LOVE being busy. I'm bored if I'm not. Some people like to have hours on end where they don't have anywhere to be. Not me. No, sir. I like to get up and have my whole day jam packed with things to do. I thrive on feeling and being productive. So, Nordstrom full time job it is! I'm excited! But not excited to quit Ann Taylor Loft because they have been so nice and the discount is a shopaholic's dream come true.

In other news, I got to visit my 2nd cousin Rebecca on Sunday for dinner because her little family was in town! Her little baby is adorable. He has the chubbiest legs I have ever seen and I love him already. Tyler and I and our friends here selling with us got a free Sonic root beer float last night. I should have spread the good news earlier so you could have been a part of the treat. Well, it's gym time. Then pool time. Then work time. Whew.
