After our weekend in Vegas for Easter I was able to go on a fun girl's trip with my mom and sister, Katelyn, to San Francisco. Katelyn was planning on doing an internship week at my uncle's veterinarian clinic (she only lasted a day until she decided that's not what she wanted to do) and so Heather and Casey dropped me off at the Vegas airport on Monday and I flew into Oakland where my aunt Shawn picked me up. She lives in Napa Valley which is about 40 minutes away from San Francisco. We stopped so I could get a Subway sandwich for lunch then met my mom and Katelyn at Six Flags Magic Kingdom. It was so cool because it was like half zoo/Sea World and half rides. We saw the coolest dolphin show that we all loved and Katelyn pet an elephant. The first ride we went on we thought was one of those that just swing back and forth. There wasn't a line so we hadn't seen it operating and just walked up and got on. Shawn decided not to go on it and said, "suckers" as walked up to the ride. Little did we know she was right! The second it started it started flipping us around and around in circles going upside down. Our hair was flying everywhere and my mom was laughing her head off because it was so unexpected. This is the day I decided that I don't love roller coasters any more because they give me a headache and my mom says it's because I'm getting old. It's official.
That night we went back to Shawn's house and had some yummy soup then went and dropped Katelyn off at my cousin Andrea's house so they could go to the clinic the next morning together.
