Great week, good people, fun times
1) On Monday night, Tyler and I went to his grandma's house in Heber for dinner. It was delicious, with great rolls, roast and all the trimmings. We then finished it off with banana cream pie :)
2) That night, we saw Eagle Eye, which I thought was a pretty good movie!
3) Tuesday, his parents came home from Paris and Portugal. We went to Outback with them to eat and it was delicious.
4) I went to lunch with my dad on Wednesday! We met at Kneaders and it was delicious. We are making this a weekly ritual that I absolutely love :)
5) I worked Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. The chilly fall weather, for some reason, makes people want to eat out more so it was really crowded at Ruby River!
6) Watched Grey's Anatomy...don't worry, it's still my favorite tv show
7) I went to lunch with Kacie on Friday. We went to Jason's Deli and it was so much fun! We ate a little too much of their strawberry shortcake, but it wasn't our fault. It was just so good.
8) Went to the football game on Saturday against New Mexico. We bundled up very warmly because it was such a cold day! Like I'm talking a long sleeve shirt, jacket, another jacket, and a coat with a scarf to top it off. Plus a big blanket, snow boots and hot chocolate. For the most part, I stayed pretty warm!
9) After the game, Ty and I went to Pizza Factory. I had been craving their breadsticks, and the didn't disappoint!
10) After dinner, we rented Darkness Falls, a scary movie (in the spirit of Halloween) about the tooth fairy. Yikes.
11) Today, we went to church, then came home and helped his parents/family with dinner. It was delish and nutrish :) I truly love to cook. I made the banana cream pie (twice in one week!) tonight and it turned out well for my first time! Plus, Carol made heavenly rolls. Thank you!
12) I forgot to mention, I made homemade chili on Wednesday night! Tyler loved it, and I thought it was pretty dang good myself! This week I'm going to try homemade bread that I learned at Enrichment a little while ago.
13) Also, it was my grandma's birthday on Tuesday! I went to Williams-Sonoma and got her some bowls and a garlic grater. I LOVE Williams-Sonoma. And I LOVE my grandma! Tyler and I went to give it to her on Wednesday night and had a fun chat with her and my grandpa. I'm so lucky they live so close by. And for myself, I got pink and purple sanding sugar, a candy thermometer, and Martha Stewart's Cookies cookbook! I made cute pink and purple sugar cookies this week! Yummo
If anyone has any great recipes that you think I should try, let me know!
Last but not least, I miss my mom :( Yes mom, that's you! I can't wait to see you next month! You are very missed!!

Halloween Season!

We are beginning the celebrations of Halloween! I promise I'll bring my camera for all our next festivities (I wish I had for these)!
On Saturday, Ty and I went to the lake with they guys he sold with last semester. It was freezing and I ended up staying in the boat (no 50 degree water for me, thank you). We had fun though and I enjoyed watching the boys wakeboard.
On Saturday night, we went to Haunted Forest in American Fork with Courtney and Marc and it was a blast! I love haunted houses! Before that we went to Bajio for dinner and then after we went to Sub Zero to get ice cream. In the spooky mood, we then went to rent the movie Halloween and went back to our house to watch it. It was a fun night! I love the fall!
Last night, Heather and Casey and their kids came over and we did tie die Halloween shirts for FHE. Heather got us all white shirts from American Apparrel and then we tie died them orange! We put them in the washer and then today we will put jack o' lantern faces on them!
I'll put up pictures of Tyler and I in our shirts when we are done :)

Campire, tinfoil dinners and guns with Ashley and Bobby!
This is Tyler and Bobby walking around looking for things to shoot
We thought it would be funny, as a joke, to wrap a frozen burrito in tinfoil and say that was our tinfoil dinner :) It got charcoaled! For our real dinner we also wrapped corn on the cob up in tinfoil and chicken, potatoes and carrots in other tinfoil for our dinner. It was delish!
