Drew and Rachel's Wedding week

Drew's Bachelor BBQ at the Ricks on Wednesday, dinner at Texas Roadhouse and temple for Rachel at Mt. Timpanogos on Thursday, wedding dinner on Friday, sealing on Saturday and reception on Saturday night. Whewww it was a busy week but very fun! The wedding was gorgeous and I am very happy to have Rachel in the family! xoxo

There are a lot of super fun things that we have been up to. I'm too tired to upload the pics now but I will tomorrow:
- Lake Powell for another week
- Wedding week for Drew and Rach (Drew's "Bachelor" party/BBQ, Rachel's Endowment night, wedding dinner, temple and reception)
- James' birthday party, BYU tailgate party and game and going on the field the 4th quarter
- Canyon night with friends

A disappointed girl am I

The last three great jobs that I have had several interviews each for have proven to be a disappointment in the end. I have been narrowed down out of many, many applicants to the top three or so but haven't been chosen in the end.

If any of you know of a human resources, admin assistant, or PR job that you think I would be good for please let me know.

Here's to holding on to some hope!!

Camping in American Fork Canyon

We went camping up American Fork Canyon to a place I've never been before with Marc and Court and two of couple friends. I couldn't get over how beautiful it was!This is our campsite. We got there and set up, then built a fire and cooked our dinners. Ty and I brought hot dogs, then I made peach cobbler in our dutch oven for everyone. We sat by the fire and talked, and told a few ghost stories of course :)The next morning we went exploring/Marc tried to catch some fish in a creek running by our campsite. After that, we went 4 wheeling then canoeing.

On our way down the canyon, Marc and Courtney's Jeep got a flat tire. It was a bad place to get it because it was a really rocky dirt road going down the mountain. Tyler and Marc changed the tire, then the spare tire blew within the first ten seconds of us starting to drive again. We had to get a ride down the mountain then drive Marc to his dad's house to pick up his Bronco where he then went to Wal Mart to get a spare and drive all the way back up there to change the tire and drive the Jeep down. What an adventure!

We had such a blast and I really love to camp! Tyler and I got home, took a nap, then got ready and went to Zupa's for dinner then went to see The Other Guys at the theater. This has been another fabulous weekend!

Lake Powell July '10

Catherine Pyfer came with the Ricks' and they came to our houseboat the night before we left! Cat and I were both in Texas last summer when our husband's did summer sales. What we've been up to lately:

- Amanda Lee gets married - her reception
- Lake Powell
- 4th of July: Stadium of Fire plus BBQ at Parcells plus mani/pedi, Neighborhood party, movie night with T, dinner at the Gedicks' then playing cards with Amanda and Blake til midnight on the side of the road where everyone was staking out parade spots, the parade, BBQ at Grandma's

- My first time golfing

- Saw Inception last weekend and it was SO good

- Went to P.F. Changs with our friends Jacque and James then went to Pirates of Penzance with them (Ty and James had to go for YM and Jacque and I went but then left at intermission to "relieve the babysitter")

- Went to Tepanyaki and to Salt (the movie) for Katelin's birthday
