Jenica's 25th Birthday

My 25th birthday proved to be a smashing success! I went to lunch with my mother and sister-in-laws and sister at CPK. It was really nice of my mother-in-law to put my party together. My mom brought came by and surprised me with balloons! She couldn't get away for a long time from work, so I thought that was so thoughtful!:

Oakley sent me a picture of baby Scarlett wishing me happy birthday. I love that little nugget!:

That night we went to Benihana in Salt Lake with some of our great friends. Kevin Durant happened to be there sitting at the next table since he was playing the Jazz the next night. Oakley got a picture of him holding Scarlett and and Jocelyn got a picture with him too! Our waiter and his flamboyant ways had us laughing all night. It was so much fun! I'm lucky to have such amazing friends. Really good friends are few and far between, and I feel like I have caught myself a good handful :):

That Friday, the Parcells took us out to Carrabbas, my favorite, and I got chicken marsala. We then went to see the Hunger Games. I thought the movie was great and a good portrayal of of book!:

This week, my mom took me to dinner at Los 2 Potrillos. It is always a blast hanging out with her. We thought these white tulips outside of the restaurant were so pretty. My mom surprised me with a great move in her picture :):

Thanks be to all who made my day so special! I couldn't ask for better families, friends, and an amazing husband who makes me laugh non-stop!

What have the Parcells been up to?

As usual, we've been having a lot of fun lately. We believe in enjoying every day and that's how we try to live our lives. Working hard and playing hard does a body good!

On Friday night, Tyler and went to 5 Star BBQ for dinner and it was absolutely delish. I discovered it by going there with my co-workers. Afterward, we went and saw The Woman in Black and it was terrifying. After the movie, we got ice cream at Cold Stone:

Brittany Cope's twin baby shower was on Saturday and it was fun to see her cute belly in preparation for her twin boy and girl! On Saturday night, I got to play with my little snuggler, Scalett! Oakley and Scott came over, we got Los 2 Potrillos take out and watched the volleyball game:

We babysat our nephew Ryker. He would wave at everyone as we took him on a walk through our neighborhood:

My adorable husband met me at the front of the neighborhood on his bike because he was excited to go on our date. I am so in love with him!:

March family temple night. We went to PF Changs to eat afterward and it was really delicious:

We went to the Sundance Tree Room with Tyler's family. Tyler and I both got the peppered steak and it was SO good. Afterward, we saw the dumbest movie of all time, John Carter:

Went to BYU and watched Katelyn's orchestra compete to qualify for State. They made it! This is same stage that I walked across to graduate 3 years ago:

Tyler had an overnight scout camp so Mom and I had a girl's night! We went to Outback Steakhouse to eat, went shopping and got some cute house decorations at Pier 1, went to see The Vow, and got ice cream at Cold Stone where Katelyn served us. I love a good girl's night with Mom!:

We had dinner at CPK went to see "Bye Bye Birdie" with Zach and Andrea Barber at the Scera Theater. A boy in Tyler's young men group was one of the main parts. It was a really good play and we all laughed the whole time!:

My mom, Tyler and I got lunch at Ripples. Their hamburgers and fries are so good! It was the first warm spring day so we sat on the bench outside for almost 2 hours soaking in the sun:

The Parcell girls went and got mani/pedis and went shopping while the boy's were at men's session of general conference. The only person we were missing was Rachel!:

Tyler and I went to Outback Steakhouse and bowling with Jocelyn, Lindsay and some other people for one her friend's birthdays:

Katelyn turned 17!!! She is getting so old! I can still remember how excited Jocelyn and I were on the night that she was born. It was the middle of the night, and we practically forced our grandma to take us to the hospital so that we would be there when she was born. We went to Red Lobster, her favorite. They gave her a lobster to hold while they were singing happy birthday to her! We then went back to the house to eat a Creme de Menth cake my mom made:

Ty and I keep guns easily accesible at our house so that if an intruder comes in, we are ready! He took me to the Orem rec center gun range so I could practice what it feels like to shoot the 9 millimeter:

On St. Patrick's Day, we went to dinner with Marc and Courtney at our new favorite Mexican food place in Spanish Fork called Los 2 Potrillos. Then we went over to their house to play games. I normally forget to wear green on St. Patrick's Day, so Tyler took a picture of me to prove that I more than made up for it this year! I think since I wore so much green, Tyler felt like I had our whole family covered:

Jett turned 5 so we had a birthday party at the Classic Fun Center in Orem. Tyler and Drew bought Jett a BB gun...:

On Wednesday night, Ty and I went to eat at the Happy Sumo. Yummo!

Calzone and Game Night!

Last month we had the Taylors and Browns over for a calzone and game night. They are such great friends and it was fun to party late into the night!
