If life gives you lemons...make a lemon meringue pie!

Okay, lets hold our horses here for a minute and pay tribute to something special. I LOVE lemon meringue pie. My grandma (who I am staying with until I get married) made it last night for our Sunday dessert and it was DELICIOUS! I think it's my favorite treat ever. Thank you, Grandma. If you come to our Utah wedding reception at Sundance you MUST try the lemon tart. It's to die for. Mmm I think I'm in a lemony mood :)

Work, work, work and missing Ty

This week was INSANE to say the least. You know those weeks where you look back and can't believe you accomplished it all, and made it through alive? That was my week. I took three finals on Monday, took my bridals on Tuesday, and literally worked almost every other second of the week. I also moved, which is no small task my friends. It took me HOURS on end, I didn't know I could fit so much stuff in one small apartment! I also went to one of my friend's bridal showers on Saturday. Whew.

Tyler is in California right now. He moved there after our bridals on Tuesday and will be back on the 6th. We miss each other! It's just not the same without my buddy here. But another week filled with working my ____ (insert any word you like) off and it will be here before I know it.

After all that I do, and how busy I get, I am SO thankful for all that I have and that I am able to accomplish so much through the Lord's help. I am so incredibly blessed I can hardly believe it!!! What a great life :)

Moving

Tonight I sit in my apartment's living room amidst garbage, boxes and D.I. donatables. This is my last night in this apartment, and I have come to the realization that I will be living out of a suitcase for a month! I'm living with Amanda next week, then my Grandma the week after while my parents are in town for the wedding, then HAWAII for a week(Hey, I didn't say I was complaining), and then Texas for a week. AND THEN I'll move to L.A. and unpack all of my belongings. Whew...fun times ahead! :) :)

Okay....back to packing. Sweet dreams!

Bridals

Tyler loved scanning things as we registered at Williams - Sonoma. He has been so involoved in this wedding!

So I took my bridals today, and I went over to Tyler's sister Heather's house. She does hair really well so she is going to do it on my wedding day, and she also did it today for my bridals. Tyler's darling niece Brynley (who has the funniest and greatest personality) went immediately into her room to put on her wedding dress as soon as she caught wind of what was going on. I put my veil on her, and this picture is one of the pictures from her very own "bridals" photo shoot. What a hoot! I'm so excited I'm going to be an aunt now!

18 days!

I am about to take my last final of this semester and then I'm DONE!!! It will be a great summer without homework. A break is definitely needed although this semester was great and I learned a lot.

The wedding countdown is now at 18 days....3 hours, 19 minutes, 14seconds. Ha ha just kidding...but we're getting so excited!

First of all, Tyler's birthday was a fun day. My sister has the pictures on her camara so hopefully I can get those from her soon. I brought Tyler breakfast in the morning and then we met up later when we got out of school to go pick up my sister in Salt Lake. That night we went to Tepanyaki (mmm....it was SO good!) and then we went to a movie a little later on. We saw Drillbit Taylore which I did not like at all, but Tyler thought it was really funny. Oh well, I'm glad HE liked it because it was his birthday after all!

My bridal shower was on Saturday and it was such a blast. About 30 of my friends and family came and it was so fun to see everyone! My cousin Amanda had it at her house which was so sweet :) I have lived with her for the past 3 years in college and it has been a blast. I just love her!

This is my roomate Abby having the time of her life ;) We had croissant sanwiches, guacamole chips, strawberries, cupcakes and punch. Delish!
