I got a new job!!!!
I truly feel so blessed! I got a job at Mozy (an online backup provider) as a Sales Account Manager. I have been training this week and I love it! My friend Mallory Tucker, whom I graduated with in the PR program at BYU, has been working there since we graduated. I saw a posting for a receptionist position on KSL and remembered that she worked there so I emailed the contact provided and mentioned that I knew Mallory. Within an hour I got a response that said they would love to interview with me. I went in for the interview and it went well. I got a call from Keith, my now boss, saying that they wanted to interview me for a higher position that they thought I would be qualified for. Less than a week later, Keith called me to offer me the job! I am thrilled. This will be a great company to work for and I can tell that I will be really happy there. I start full time next week! I feel like I have so much free time now because the part-time job of looking for a job is over. Yippee!

Amanda and Blake's Wedding
My grandma and I at the temple...isn't she pretty?

Ali, my cousin Krista's daughter, was enthralled with the "prince and princess!" She said, "Oooh, she cares about him," then pointed to the temple and asked if they were going to live there. Why would a prince and princess not live in the castle?

Perry, my cousin Abby's daughter, didn't want to be left out of the daddy/daughter dance.

Amanda and Blake were married on September 18th in the Salt Lake temple. The night before, they had their wedding dinner at the Blue Lemon in Highland and it was delish! We ate parmesan crusted chicken, fettuccine alfredo, salad, bread and yummy cupcakes. The next day we drove to Salt Lake to go to their sealing then T and I went to Crown Burgers to eat some lunch then came home to watch the BYU game. That night we went to their reception in the Gedicks' backyard. It was so much fun to have a mini family reunion!

Happy Birthday Mom!

(Tyler wouldn't give me a good smile for the life of me! Stinker.)

I have the best mother in the entire universe and her birthday was yesterday! September 11th. We started the fun by giving her her presents! The necklace at the top of this post is what I gave her. It's really small and cute and has all of her daughter's names on it. I found the Web site and ordered it a month ago and have been dying to give it to her! My sister Katelyn went in on it with me to give to her. Jocelyn got her Carolina Herrera perfume and my grandma and grandpa gave her a necklace and a couple of pretty scarves. We then went to lunch at Cafe Rio then went to Gardner's Village. It is the most adorable little "village" of shops. Our favorite stop was the bead shop where we got to tell the owners what different things we wanted on necklace and then they would make it for us. I made an adorable little Halloween necklace with a pumpkin, candy corn and a bone. I also made matching candy corn earrings...I can't wait to wear them next month! My sister Jocelyn made cute little cupcake charms for a necklace. My mom and Katelyn made some cute necklaces with metal heart and square charms hanging from them. We shopped around at all the cute shops then went to get parfaits at TCBY. When we got home, Tyler met up with us and we rented the old Wall Street in prep for the new one that is coming out. We stopped it halfway through at 9:00 and went to dinner at Brick Oven because we weren't hungry until then! YUM! We got home and finished the movie then called it a night!Today we went over to my Grandma's and had a yummy roast and potato dinner with corn on the cob, fruit and veggies. I made cute mini pies and Whitney, my cousin, made an ice cream cake because she works at Cold Stone. It was a great night! I am so thankful that I have an amazing mother and best friend! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, mom!! You deserve the best!
