So, the birthday dinner for Lindsay's birthday on Monday night was SO delicious. And I made her a cake which was really good too. However, I got a call from my dad Monday night saying my grandma had a heartattack earlier in the day but she was okay. She just got out of the hospital on Saturday. She has a stint in one of her arteries, and she needs to get two more in a few weeks when she starts feeling better. What a scare! If she hadn't have been taken to the hospital by my grandpa to just see why she was feeling bad, she would have died. Luckily, she had a seizure and a heartattack while she was at hospital already. My grandpa saved her! Anyway, my mom was able to come on Thursday night and I had the best weekend with her. We went to lunch at Ruby River on Friday, went to the hospital to hang out with my grandma and went shopping. My mom always helps me find the best deals! I got three shirts at Banana Republic for a VERY low price! I had to work that night. Then on Saturday, we went to lunch at Brick Oven and then hung out at my grandma's house for a while. We went shopping again (we were going to go to Gardner's Village but it closed too early) so we just went to the mall! We ran into my inlaws, and we went over to my sister-in-laws to see her sweet little girl Paisley who had to get glasses! She is only 1 1/2 years old! Poor little thing, but she loves them because she can actually see now. After that we got pizza and then came home and watched a movie with my grandma. Today we went over for dinner and had blackened salmon. Yummy! I made baked scones.
It was so sad that my grandma had a heartattack, but I am SO HAPPY I could spend time with my mom! I miss her so much and I hate that she lives so far away from me. I had the best weekend!
Does anyone know where to fix computers? My computer won't start, and I think it's the battery. Let me know if you have any insights! Thanks!

Hi, Jenica - I'm sorry that I don't knonw anything about computers, but I'm sure you'll find someone who does. Computer woes are the worst, now that we've grown so accusotmed to using them, right? What did we ever do without them?
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma's heart attack. What a scare! Is she home yet?
It's so good that your mom was able to come up for a few days. I know you miss her. You guys will have to call me when she comes again. Maybe you two and Amanda and I can get together for lunch. Or maybe Amanda and I could actually get together and COOK something for all of us. Wouldn't that be a novelty!
Did you know that Fred is teaching for this semester at Notre Dame as a visiting professor? He left January first but he's been back twice since then and will be back several more times before he comes home for good in May. He loves his classes. He says he's in the fourth week of classes there and hasn't had one unprepared student yet! Professors like that. He said every year he has many BYU students who aren't prepared.

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma's heart attack. Glad your Grandpa was able to get her help quickly. It's hard to think about that stuff. Glad you got to see your mom too. I miss my mom too. I know what you feel like.
