My friend Marin James told me about the Alpine Live Nativity this year which I had never heard of. We decided to go on a Friday night (it only goes for one weekend) and got tickets online. They are free but there were only 6 left! We bundled up, got hot chocolate on the way there and stood in line then got into a covered trailer and walked through Bethlehem. You walk through a pasture with camels and other cool animals then up into Bethlehem where you are led to a market. People are making wool, sawing, making food and playing games like how the people of Bethlehem did at Jesus' time. When you walk out of the market the 3 wisemen greet you and then you send you to see Jesus in the manger. It was really neat and really helped me to feel the true meaning of Christmas!
