Hike to the "G"

I love living in Utah. I always tell Tyler that nowhere in the whole world beats Utah in the summer. The air smells so sweet and it gets nice and crisp and cool when the sun starts to go down. I can't get enough. Last week I took a scooter ride to go on a hike I had never done before to the Pleasant Grove "G" on the mountain. I figure since we are PG residents that it was about time that I pay homage. When I drove up to the canyon there was helicopter, firetrucks, police cars and an ambulance. I was told that I needed to turn around because there had been a paragliding accident and they were searching for someone. Scary!! I found out later that they found the person that fell and he was safely transferred to a hospital and is okay. I was able to find a different way to start on the trail by driving down the road a few block, parking, then making my way by foot to the start of the trail.

The views were gorgeous! I kept stopping to take pictures every few minutes. I want to soak up every last minute of summer! I also want to take as many selfies as I can while hiking this summer by myself...
