We had a great Thanksgiving this year! I got off work a bit early on the Wednesday before and made my pretzel jello salad and candied coconut sweet potatoes. Tyler came home and we watched our tv shows then went to bed! The next morning he woke up and did the Orem Turkey Trot with his parents. I went to the gym. After we got ready and packed up, we went to Drew and Rachel’s for Christmas. They had their house decorated so beautifully for Christmas and her mom brought the tastiest breakfast casserole. After breakfast we drove up to Oakley and helped finish getting the Thanksgiving dinner ready. I took Tatum and Matt’s Christmas pictures and her pregnancy announcement shot. It was really fun! I also took photos of the rest of the family and we got a group shot. Dinner was absolutely delicious. Richard made turducken. Chicken cooked inside of a duck, cooked inside of a turkey! It was really good. After dinner we all hung out and talked and had a great night!
Tyler and I slept over, so the next morning Tyler helped
Steve fix a fence that his horse broke, then we all went to the rec center to
work out. It was a really nice rec center with an indoor water park! After that
we went back to the house and made a delicious crepe breakfast. Steve has a
great way to make crepes and they were SO GOOD! After we got ready we went on
the most gorgeous hike. It wasn’t that cold, just perfect, and so snowy and pretty.
Bear loved it and had little snow balls on his legs which made us laugh! After
our hike we went back to the house and had yummy Thanksgiving leftovers then
watched a movie. It was such a great Thanksgiving.
The next day Tyler and I got
some work done at our house then went to the temple and dinner with his family.
After dinner at Wild Zucchini Grill we got a text from McKenna and Scott Brown
saying they had extra tickets to Comedy Sportz so we went and picked them up
and went to the show! It was really funny as usual.
On Sunday we went to Tyler’s parents for dinner and playing
games with just the two of them. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
