We drove up to the Salt Lake temple tonight for family pictures with the Parcell's. It's wedding week for Katelin and Carol wanted pictures of the family before Cam and Jay left for summer sales. It started to get really cold as we started to take pictures and both babies pooped but they were still so happy! Little Goldie was smiling at the photographer's assistant and kicking her legs because she was so excited. Beforehand, I had their outfits laid out on my floor. Harris' little baby boy outfit and Goldie's little white dress baby girl outfit made me smile the entire day.
They are the best babies! They are such good natured little souls. Tyler and I absolutely adore being with them. We got home tonight and Goldie woke up after falling asleep in the car. She was smiling and laughing and tensing her whole body like she does when she is excited. Her little smile in the dark was so sweet! She seriously is pure joy and happiness in the tiniest little body.
Harris woke up about 3-4 times last night which is really unlike him. Tyler got up and helped him go to back to sleep all 4 times, and then got up before me to get to his meeting this morning for work. I walked into the bathroom, and all of the bottles had been washed and he put them in the steamer. He's the best husband! I love our little family so much. I just love spending all of my time with them. They bring me peace and happiness and we are a little band of buddies; Tyler and I can't wait to explore the world with Harris and Goldie! When I woke up this morning for a little bit before Tyler left for work, I thanked him for getting up with Harris. He smiled and said, "I love that kid! When I put my hand on him and he puts his hand on me it's worth it and makes me want to get up for him." He also popped in after his meeting to get a coat and Harris woke up from his nap while he was home for a few minutes. Tyler ran into the room to soothe him back to sleep. He walked out of the room and said, "Yes! He knew dad was home!"
Tyler makes life FUN! I love these sweet little spirits that we get to raise together. It really is the greatest blessing of our life.
