Jocy graduated from UVU in Public Relations! We went to her graduation and then went outside to take pictures of her and everyone that came to support her. After that we went to my grandparents house for a delicious BBQ. I made the red velvet cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory (which took me like 7 hours to make!) I made the red velvet cake, cheesecake, cream cheese frosting, put it together and then shaved white chocolate onto it. Yummo! It was a great night and fun for Jocelyn. Way to go, Jocy Bossy!

Tyler's 30th Birthday!!!
We had such a blast during Tyler's birthday week! His birthday was on Wednesday so we went to Magleby's Fresh and got some delicious breakfast that morning. That night we went to dinner with his family at Happy Sumo, came back to the house to eat some delicious chocolate cake that I made and then went to see the movie 42 which we really liked. After the movie we went to get Farr's ice cream and yogurt. I decorated our bedroom with balloons which Tyler rolled around him. I just love him!!!
On Friday I organized a dinner at CPK with some of our friends. I made chocolate cupcakes and little birthday flags for each cupcake. I bought candy to spread out over the table and sparkly confetti on little blue plates. I also tied balloons on every other chair. It was so festive and fun to continue celebrating his birthday!
On Saturday I took Tyler up to Park City and we went shopping at the outlets where he got some new shorts and a cool running or biking jacket. We then went to dinner at Cafe Rio and then to see Oblivion at the movie theater up there. We stayed the night at a little hotel right by the Park City ski resort. The next morning we met up with my mom and sister Jocelyn in Midway because they had stayed at a hotel there. Jocelyn had gotten couple night's stay for styling someone for a modeling shoot. We had breakfast at a delicious restaurant then went to see the crater where people swim in the warm water. On our way home we took the Salt Lake way and stopped by the hospital to see our friends Kim and Curtis' triplets in the hospital! They were about 2 weeks old. They had them through her sister-in-law who was a surrogate for them when they weren't able to have children themselves.
Tyler's birthday was so much fun and we loved celebrating all week! He is my best friend and the best decision I have ever made. He brings SO much joy and laughter into my life and I think every single day is better with him in it.

Vegas for Easter
Whenever I tell anyone that I am going to Vegas for Easter, they are always confused. "Vegas for Easter?!" they say. Yep. It's not to go down to the strip to party, people. Tyler's family has had a tradition his whole life to get together on Easter weekend for the sunrise service. On Easter morning we wake up before the sun rises and go to the same place in the mountains to have a message about the Savior and watch the sun rise. Each family takes turns to plan the service where they give talks and sing and lead songs. Afterward we have scones at the pavilion.
This year we arrived late Thursday night and woke up on Friday to gorgeous weather. I went on short walk then we stopped at Target to buy some sunglasses because we forgot them and definitely needed them in the Vegas sun. I happened to find the gold glitter sandals that I had been eyeing as well :) We went with Heather and kids to meet up with Drew and Rachel at the Venetian's swimming pool because they had stayed there for a couple nights. We sat out by the pool, then went and got lunch at In N Out. After that we went and took quick showers then met everyone in Carol's family at the at the Vegas temple to go through with Karly as she got endowed. There was a small hicup when I was walking into the temple and realized I had left my recommend at Grannybird's! After waiting for 20 minutes and thinking I would have to wait outside the whole time, the presidency finally got in touch with someone from my ward who verified my temple recommend was in a good standing. We just made it! After the temple we went to Olive Garden with the Dye's, then Tyler and I went to Rachel and Dustin's to spend the night.
The next morning Tyler had to wake up and run 13 miles for his marathon training, so we got up and walked to a golf course and I went on a 2 hour walk while he ran. We got ready and then went to Grannbird's birthday party at a church. The decorations were really cute and there was a photo area set up so all of the families could get pictures with her. We had a yummy lunch and then watched a slideshow with pictures of her and all of the cousins and her children. After her lunch we went to Costo to get few things for the Easter breakfast and I found a chandelier that I loved for our new house! I had already ordered my lighting on Thursday so luckily my lighting guy was able to cancel the chandelier. We hung out at the Dye's that night and ate hot dogs and just sat around talking. It was so nice and relaxing. The next morning we went to the sunrise service, came home to take a nap, went to church then went to the Dye's for Sunday dinner and relaxing. Tyler drove home with his parents at about 5 and I stayed because I flew out of Vegas the next day to San Francisco for a week at my aunt Shawn's house with my mom and Katelyn! That night I went to the strip with Heather and Casey and we walked around to see the Bellagio fountains, get a quick dinner and see the pirate show at Treasure Island. We waited for a while and it ended up being was trashier than we remembered with girl pirates dressed in nothing so we left early! Too bad. I guess that's what you can expect from the strip.
It was such a great weekend filled with amazing weather and fun, relaxing time with the family.

Florida, Kendra's shower and Katelyn's birthday
I went to Orlando for 3 days for work to go to a conference. On our down time we were able to go to Downtown Disney and Universal City Walk to eat some yummy food. It was gorgeous weather and I only wish Tyler could have come to spend a few extra days there.
When I got back, I went to Kendra's baby shower who is going to have a little girl soon. The food was yummy and it was fun to hang out with the girls. I won a candle by playing the game where you guess who the artist and what the song name is when you hear songs with the word "baby" in it. It was cute! After that my mom and I ran up to ski at Sundance for a couple hours then met up with Tyler and got cheesburgers at Burgers Supreme.
The following Friday was Katelyn's birthday but we had to leave to drive to Vegas for Easter on Thursday night so we had the family birthday dinner at Magleby's in Springville. That restaurant used to be at the Riverwoods so we used to go there all the time, but since it moved we hadn't been there in a long time. I forgot how good it was! She is now 18!!! I can't believe it. I still think of her as 8 years old. It's kind of sad how fast life goes by. It reminds me to really enjoy every minute because time is so precious.

My 26th birthday!
My 26th birthday was positively perfect! It all started out on the evening of the 18th when we went to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Carrabba's, with the Parcell's. I got my all-time favorite meal which is the chicken marsala. They also gave me my birthday presents which included some cute shirts from J. Crew, a Kate Spade necklace....and an iPad! I had been telling Tyler I had wanted an iPad for months and he made it happen along with contributions from Rach and Drew and Heather and Casey. I came home and Courtney stopped by with a cute present. It's so nice when your friends think of you on your birthday. The next morning I woke up and Tyler and I went to the gym then went to Kneaders for breakfast. I got the french toast and Tyler got the breakfast sandwich. It was a perfect start! I rolled in to work at around 11 and then we had a lunch at work, then Kacie picked me up and we had a second lunch at Melty Way! I only got a drink because I wasn't hungry any more but it was great to celebrate with her. After work, I went over to my mom's house for my birthday dinner and she had adorable birthday decorations all set out. I loved it! We had delicious pork sandwiches, my favorite salad, jello pretzel salad, chocolate covered strawberries and Dunford donuts. It was AMAZING! They gave me the cutest presents like lotion, perfume, a stuffed dinosaur (from Katelyn lol), a cute glass candle holder, a gift card to Cinemark and money.
It was the perfect birthday and I felt so loved and blessed with amazing people in my life who made me feel so special!
