Lately!

We've been having so much fun this summer! Here are some of things we have been up to:

Dinner at Ruther's Diner in Immigration Canyon in Salt Lake. We knew of this place because of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and it did not disappoint! YUM! We went shopping at City Creek after dinner. 

Katelyn and I went on hike up Rock Canyon! It was gorgeous but it was so hot that Katelyn dipped in the river which cooled her right off.

Ty set up our tent in the basement to dry it out after camping in the rain. We decided to have a campout and watch Newsies! I seriously love that movie.

I decided to make an entirely homemade chocolate cake and it was SO GOOD. This is Katelyn peaking her eyes out from behind it.

We went to see Diamond Rio and our friend Ben with his band Truman open for them at the Scera Shell with a bunch of our friends. We had a BBQ at Chelsey and Dales' house beforehand. Ben's dad is the piano player in Diamond Rio.

My mom, Katelyn and I woke up bright and early one Saturday morning to drive up to Murray for the Sports Authority ski sale. I bought some boots, polls and ski socks. Now I just need to snatch me a good deal some skis!

Ty and I went on a bike ride up South Fork with his family. The fall leaves are starting to show and they are gorgeous!

We went to see Obama 2016 with Ty's family and then went to Malawi's for a late dinner and dessert. The movie was very eye-opening. I certainly hope Romney gets voted into office!

Last Friday, Tyler had an overnight trip to Yuba Lake with the young men so my mom and I went to Gardener's Village, then went to Fashion Place mall and went shopping at Nordstrom and then had dinner at Corner Bakery. I gave her a pound of candy from See's so we ended the night with picking out some chocolates!

This past Saturday I went on bike ride up the canyon, then went to the BYU football with my mom. Our scooter wouldn't start so I had to drive my car and park pretty far away. It was SO HOT. We kept putting ice down our shirts and rubbing it on our arms and legs. The cougars won! That night we had Kim and Dave over for dinner and we chatted for hours. Great day!

A couple weekends ago we went up to Daybreak to go to dinner with Oakley and Scott at a Chicago pizza place, then we watched the Hunger Games. I was reallllllly excited that it was Friday as you can tell.

We went over to Kim and Curtis' to watch a BYU football game! Kim's mom and sister made the best food!

Ty and I went hiking one Friday night up past the Provo temple!
