On Monday after work, I met Courtney and Cannon to get yogurt at Red Mango. Love them! The last couple of weeks at work have been CRAZY, so I decided to de-stress with my mom and Tuesday and boy did it work! We went to see "Trouble with the Curve" at the movie theater when we got off work, went shopping, got frozen yogurt and had Rubio's for dinner. Much needed!
This iPhone photo is horrible quality, but oh well. On Wednesday night we went to dinner at Carrabba's (my favorite restaurant because I LOVE the chicken marsala), then went to the temple and did sealings with Tyler's family.
Tyler had to go on a young men's campout, so my mom and I went to the Snowbird ski swap and got some new skis! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. We then got a drink and walked around for a bit because the surroundings were so stunning they looked fake. We kept stopping to smell the pine in the air which happens to be my all-time favorite scent. It was heavenly! After we drove out of the canyon, we went shopping at Fashion Place then went to dinner Pei Wei. We both got the Japanese teriyaki with shrimp which was so delicious and healthy too. We didn't eat until 9 pm and we were starving by that point! We counted and we literally ate and took 30 fortune cookies. I think we like those a little too much, and we wanted to have a lot of fortune as well. I can already tell this week is going to be good.
Don't worry, the fun didn't end after that! We decided to go up to Park City on Saturday morning and do some more shopping! It was gorgeous up there as well, and we went to the outlets. We had Cafe Rio for lunch. On the way up there, Jocelyn invited us to go to the Relief Society General Broadcast. She didn't have tickets for us yet, but then after a couple hours my sister-in-law Lindsay was able to track some down. When Joc called us, we turned around and grabbed some skirts at my mom's. The skirt I grabbed didn't match my outfit that well, so I ended up wearing an outfit that my mom bought at the outlets. I changed in the car, and then as we were walking to the conference center, my sandal completely broke and it was flapping around. Luckily, when we met up with Jocelyn, she had super glue in her purse! It made my laugh so hard that she happened to have that in her purse and I was able to fix my shoe. She said that it comes in handy to have it, so I think I might get some super glue for those "just in case" moments! It was really fun because Tyler's sisters and mom were there too, so we all went to Brio for dinner afterward. It was delicious!
