On the last day we took a really long boat ride (Heather and Casey's friends had come the day before) to Hole in Rock to hike up it. The pioneers took 6 weeks to blast enough of the mountain to be able to take the wagons down. Hiking up and down it without anything else was hard. We were climbing up on over big boulders and none of us understand how the pioneers could have made it down with huge wagons! It's pretty incredible. We had PB & J sandwiches for lunch and then also went to hike up to Rainbow Bridge. We left that night pretty late and were driving home until about 1:30 am. It was kind of scary because we saw about 15 deer and Tyler had to slow down multiple times so he wouldn't hit them.

Lake Powell
We were in Lake Powell this past week with Tyler's family and it was lovely! The weather was great and the water was 85 degrees. We paddle boarded a few times, including once where we paddled on the same board which was hilarious because we kept falling off. We tried standing, kneeling, sitting, and laying on top of each other! Ha ha ha it was a good time. Ty and I went on a few long jet ski rides and we went on a hike to the hole in West Canyon. We played Hearts, read and relaxed and played horse shoes where I actually did well and thought I might beat Tyler but he pulled through with a win. We were all in charge of providing food for one day and we did eggcelent and blueberry muffins for breakfast, tuna melt sandwiches for lunch and poppy seed chicken for dinner.
