I'm back!

I decided instead of being such a binge blogger that I will try and update more regularly instead of 15 posts in one day to catch up. I think that if I say it then I will be held accountable. There are so many little things that go on each week that are so much fun to document and hard to remember if I haven't blogged for 3 months in a row. So, here goes! I do have a LOT to catch up on since we have been very busy. Work hard, play hard as I always say.

We took some friends boating one Saturday during the summer and the weather turned out to be great although later that day it was storming like no tomorrow. It was hard to surf at Utah Lake though because it was so shallow and the wave couldn't get big. It was so muddy at one point that I thought I was surfing in chocolate milk! I do like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so I thought maybe my fantasy of indulging in his chocolate river was coming to fruition but it turns out it wasn't. A girl can dream. That night went to see Monsters University with Tyler's family for Paisley's birthday and it was darling. Afterward we had Cafe Rio which I can never complain about!

One of my friend's from college, Rachel Nelson, finally got married to her boyfriend of like 7 years! Oh, happy day. Her and Chris are darling. He is actually on the Olympic bobsled team and we are looking forward to supporting him in some of his competitions prior to the Olympics in Park City. The week before the wedding I went to Rachel's shower and it was fun to catch up. The night before her wedding one of my other good friends from college, Ashley Hovik, had an event at Soel Boutique for her jewelry line. Her company is amazingly inspiring as she hires at risk teens to earn money to go to college. It was a mini college reunion as I also got to see a fun friend Kelsey. At Rachel's wedding reception I also got to catch up with Karly. Oh, the BYU freshman days! Life was fun and life was crazy! It's fun to see where life takes everyone. It also kind of freaks me out that we are getting so old. We were freshman 8 years ago and the time has absolutely flown by.

We went with Walt and Carol on a massive bike ride one Saturday on the Murdoch Canal Trail by our house. I think the total miles biked were 35? We went to American Fork canyon, then down to Thanksgiving Point. We stopped at Kneaders to eat lunch. We absolutely love having the bike trail near our house.
