Pictures (the lack of)

When we packed up our house I accidentally packed my camera's battery charger and the battery just died...this is why I am not putting up any pictures with this post. Boring! My new resolution is to start using the awesome Canon camera that Walt gave me. I need to do a little training on it. It's his old camera but it's still a lot nicer than any other camera I have and that will mean much better pictures. I'm sick of the poor quality iPhone pictures and washed out pictures my small digital camera takes. Things are going to start looking better around here!

What have we been up to these last few weeks? Well, a few Fridays ago we went to dinner at Mama Chu's with my mom which is always fun. It's a yummy restaurant at the mouth of Provo canyon and we really like it. The next day I went skiing for a few hours then went to see Parental Guidance with my mom at the dollar theater, went to Dillard's to pick out some new face lotion, went to dinner with Ty at Burger Supreme (the best hamburger place on the planet!), then went to the BYU basketball game with McKenzie and Chase. You can say that I slept well that night. The following Monday was Memorial Day so T Bear and I went skiing all day at Sundance then went to JCW's for dinner. I go through phases where I am obsessed with cheeseburgers and I happen to be in that phase right now. Tyler tells me that they are healthy for me (ha!) so I just believe him and try to have faith in the notion that the mind has power and what we believe becomes reality. That Wednesday my dad took us to a yummy new restaurant called Mongo's Stir Fry. You go down the line and fill your bowl with all sorts of veggies, meats and noodles, put on your sauces and then they stir fry it for you. It was great! The following day I met up with some friends that I met originally in my old ward (Kim T, Kim B, Kristi, Courtney and Andrea) at Pizza Factory for some good food and girl talk.

Last Friday night we went to dinner at crepe place in Provo with my mom and her friend Kristi then went to see Cougarettes in concert. They were amazing and it made me miss my dancing days! Being on my high school's dance team was so much fun. On Saturday I went to the gym, then to Amy Glenn's baby shower. Her sister-in-law and my friend Kendra threw her an incredible shower. The decorations and food were to die for. She has the cutest style and I think she needs to be an interior designer. She's amazing! That night we went to the Provo temple then caught up with the family over dinner at Happy Sumo. On Monday night we all went to Cafe Rio for Ryker's birthday and then some of us went to Hang Time afterward. Tyler loved jumping around and playing dodgeball with 8-year-olds ;)

Our house is coming right along! They are finishing the roof tomorrow and the windows went in today. The doors should be put on tomorrow as well. We have had and will have so many decisions to make! My mind is spinning with endless possibilities on what I want my house to look like and it's overwhelming because I want it to be perfect. I'm hoping I make all the right decisions and won't want to change a thing!
