Mom's Bridal Shower

I threw a big bridal shower for my mom at my house and it was a blast! I made sleeves of candy for the party favors and we had some yummy food. Jocelyn and I made veggie bars, I made peach slush, chocolate covered strawberries, and BBQ chicken salad, Jamie made frog eye salad, Carol made coconut cupcakes and she brought chocolate chip cookies and made cowboy caviar dip, and my grandma made orange rolls. It was super tasty! We had about 40 people there to support her. We ate then we watched a video that Tyler and I made recording Steve and asking him questions. It was cute and it helped the people who hadn’t met him yet to get to know him. I had everyone sign a new cookbook that I bought her. It was America’s Test Kitchen’s New Family Cookbook which I thought was fitting. It was a fun way to celebrate her upcoming wedding! We love her and Steve.
