My 26th birthday was positively perfect! It all started out on the evening of the 18th when we went to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Carrabba's, with the Parcell's. I got my all-time favorite meal which is the chicken marsala. They also gave me my birthday presents which included some cute shirts from J. Crew, a Kate Spade necklace....and an iPad! I had been telling Tyler I had wanted an iPad for months and he made it happen along with contributions from Rach and Drew and Heather and Casey. I came home and Courtney stopped by with a cute present. It's so nice when your friends think of you on your birthday. The next morning I woke up and Tyler and I went to the gym then went to Kneaders for breakfast. I got the french toast and Tyler got the breakfast sandwich. It was a perfect start! I rolled in to work at around 11 and then we had a lunch at work, then Kacie picked me up and we had a second lunch at Melty Way! I only got a drink because I wasn't hungry any more but it was great to celebrate with her. After work, I went over to my mom's house for my birthday dinner and she had adorable birthday decorations all set out. I loved it! We had delicious pork sandwiches, my favorite salad, jello pretzel salad, chocolate covered strawberries and Dunford donuts. It was AMAZING! They gave me the cutest presents like lotion, perfume, a stuffed dinosaur (from Katelyn lol), a cute glass candle holder, a gift card to Cinemark and money.
It was the perfect birthday and I felt so loved and blessed with amazing people in my life who made me feel so special!

March so far!
I just realized in my last post that I didn't mention Valentine's Day! Tyler and I went to lunch at Costa Vida, had a heart shaped pizza for dinner then went to see Safe Haven. I thought it was a good movie and the ending is a total tear jerker! After we got done with that we went to get yogurt at Farr's.
A few weekends ago Katelyn, my mom and went skiing up at Sundance. That night Tyler and I went to dinner at Goodwood for our friend Curtis Brown's birthday dinner where I ate the largest onion rings of all time. On Monday we went up to Soldier Hollow in Midway with Kim and Dave to go tubing. There was a contraption that would pull you up while you sat on your tube and you could choose which slope to go down. Tyler and Dave made friends with the worker at the top who was a real stickler on the rules, ie, no tubing with four people at once. His last name was Fitzgerald so they started to call him "Fitz" and were able to bend the rules a bit. We all went down together a couple times and were laughing our heads off! After we were done, we went to The Store to get donuts and hot chocolate, then came home and watched the Bachelor.
Our friends Ashley and Casey Kirkland had their baby and we were able to meet sweet little Chase at the hospital! That night was Amanda's friend baby shower. She looks so amazing! The following night we went up to Daybreak for dinner, gourmet popcorn tasting, Downeast Home shopping, BYU game watching and chit-chatting with Oakley and Scott. It's always a fun night with them. The next day on Saturday I went up to Amanda's family baby shower in Sandy where it was fun to see some relatives that I hadn't seen in a while. After the shower we went shopping at Dillard's for a bit then I met Tyler at home and we went to Mama Chu's for dinner and saw Snitch.
I went to lunch with my friend Kacie on Monday at this delicious little place call Melty Way where they server gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. That night I went with my mom and Katelyn to Brick Oven where we met Shawn, Nicea and Amanda for dinner. It was so much fun to catch up. On Tuesday Tyler and I went up to Salt Lake to pick out our granite and tile. Some hard choices were made but we are really happy and feel good about them! Thursday of this week was Bunco night. I invited Rachel and it was fun catching up with the girls. It's fun because I didn't know any of them until Oakley invited me to the group and it's been getting to know them! A few of them are married to some boys I knew growing up in Texas so it's a small world. On Friday we went to lunch with the girl's at work and were able to meet up with Mallory and her cute baby Calvin. We tried a new restaurant called Wild Mustang Grill and Bakery. They sell Croshaw's pies which many people love. They are based in St. George. On Friday night I went shopping with my mom for a bit and ended up with a cute birthday outfit from GAP (my birthday is in two days!!!) and then went to see The Incredible Burt Wonderstone with Rachel and Drew. I hadn't even heard of the movie but it was goofy and funny. I, of course, got Kettle Corn. After the movie we went to Malawi's to grab a bite to eat.
Katelyn, my mom and I went skiing again at Sundance yesterday. I absolutely loved it as usual. The day was clear and the weather was pretty warm. After skiing I came home and took a nap then got ready and met my mom and Tyler at my favorite.....you guessed it! Burger's Supreme! Those cheeseburgers are so good. After dinner I exchanged a sweater at GAP then Tyler and I came home and watched Won't Back Down. We love our movies!

Pictures (the lack of)
When we packed up our house I accidentally packed my camera's battery charger and the battery just died...this is why I am not putting up any pictures with this post. Boring! My new resolution is to start using the awesome Canon camera that Walt gave me. I need to do a little training on it. It's his old camera but it's still a lot nicer than any other camera I have and that will mean much better pictures. I'm sick of the poor quality iPhone pictures and washed out pictures my small digital camera takes. Things are going to start looking better around here!
What have we been up to these last few weeks? Well, a few Fridays ago we went to dinner at Mama Chu's with my mom which is always fun. It's a yummy restaurant at the mouth of Provo canyon and we really like it. The next day I went skiing for a few hours then went to see Parental Guidance with my mom at the dollar theater, went to Dillard's to pick out some new face lotion, went to dinner with Ty at Burger Supreme (the best hamburger place on the planet!), then went to the BYU basketball game with McKenzie and Chase. You can say that I slept well that night. The following Monday was Memorial Day so T Bear and I went skiing all day at Sundance then went to JCW's for dinner. I go through phases where I am obsessed with cheeseburgers and I happen to be in that phase right now. Tyler tells me that they are healthy for me (ha!) so I just believe him and try to have faith in the notion that the mind has power and what we believe becomes reality. That Wednesday my dad took us to a yummy new restaurant called Mongo's Stir Fry. You go down the line and fill your bowl with all sorts of veggies, meats and noodles, put on your sauces and then they stir fry it for you. It was great! The following day I met up with some friends that I met originally in my old ward (Kim T, Kim B, Kristi, Courtney and Andrea) at Pizza Factory for some good food and girl talk.
Last Friday night we went to dinner at crepe place in Provo with my mom and her friend Kristi then went to see Cougarettes in concert. They were amazing and it made me miss my dancing days! Being on my high school's dance team was so much fun. On Saturday I went to the gym, then to Amy Glenn's baby shower. Her sister-in-law and my friend Kendra threw her an incredible shower. The decorations and food were to die for. She has the cutest style and I think she needs to be an interior designer. She's amazing! That night we went to the Provo temple then caught up with the family over dinner at Happy Sumo. On Monday night we all went to Cafe Rio for Ryker's birthday and then some of us went to Hang Time afterward. Tyler loved jumping around and playing dodgeball with 8-year-olds ;)
Our house is coming right along! They are finishing the roof tomorrow and the windows went in today. The doors should be put on tomorrow as well. We have had and will have so many decisions to make! My mind is spinning with endless possibilities on what I want my house to look like and it's overwhelming because I want it to be perfect. I'm hoping I make all the right decisions and won't want to change a thing!

San Francisco
This week Heather and Casey's kids have been staying at the Parcell's so it's been fun and busy with them there. My favorite part is waking up to cute little Ryker in his jammies and him wanting to have breakfast with me! On Tuesday night I had a girl's night with McKenna Brown and her friend and sis-in-law. We went furniture and home shopping then had dinner at CPK. On Wednesday I left for a one day trip to San Francisco for work. We flew in on Wednesday night and had few hours to walk around Fisherman's Wharf and eat some great seafood at Scoma's. I wish they had clam chowder like that in Utah! On Wednesday we went to our client's sales kickoff then had more great seafood at Quinn's Lighthouse before we hopped on our plane to come back home.
Friday night we went to the Impossible with my mom. I thought it was an incredible movie and I would definitely recommend it. It really gave me perspective into how terrifying a tsunami really is and it's a true, great story about a family's survival. We got kettle corn during the movie, of course, and that is half the fun. Afterward we went to dinner at JCW's. On Saturday we woke up and went to the gym. Tyler ran 10 miles which is why I have picture of him lying down on couch when we were shopping at Costco later that day. After the gym I went to my friend Kim Brown's baby shower. Her sister-in-law is her surrogate and is carrying her triplets! Two identical twins and a little girl. It was such a fun shower. After that Tyler and I met up to go house shopping...looking at rock, lighting fixtures, paint colors, etc. When we were done we met up with Oakley and Scott to get some dinner at Cubby's and then went to the basketball game. Mitch and Jenni met up there. It was a great weekend!

Ski Days
Well, I think it's safe to say this season that if you can't find me, I'm probably on the ski slopes! McKenzie and I went a few weekends ago and it was a beautiful day. The inversion has been so bad here in Utah that it feels like we are stuck in muck all day. It is the worst air in nation. Yuck! It was so nice to get up and out of the inversion to warmer weather and clear blue skis. That night we went to dinner at El Azteca and the BYU Men's volleyball game with Oakley and Scott.
The following weekend we went to dinner at Pizza Factory with Kendra and Landon, then went over to their house to play games and Amy and Jaron came over as well. The next night we drove up to Oakley and Scott's and went to a cute little cafe by their house to get dirty diet cokes (coconut flavoring with a squeeze of lime) and hot chocolate. On Monday I had to get a filling on one of my back teeth so my mom and I went to El Azteca for lunch then I had the whole left side of my face numbed up. It was hard to talk on the phone at work after that! On Wednesday I drove up to Daybreak and Oak helped me look at her friend's houses to get ideas for ours and then we went to the mall. That Friday was Rachel's birthday dinner at Brio then getting some shopping done at the mall. I got a really cute rug for under my kitchen table in our new house.
Last week was sales kickoff at work where we take 3 days and have meetings to discuss Mozy's strategy for the upcoming year. We had a casino night where I played Black Jack and earned tickets based on the amount of money I won, and I ended up winning a really nice camera! After work that Wednesday in the afternoon we went to lunch at PF Chang's as a team then went to see a movie. On Friday we went to Scott and McKenna Brown's for dinner and talked for a few hours. It was really fun to catch up with them! On Saturday I went skiing all day at Sundance with my mom. She hurt her back over a year ago and was worried that it would hurt her but she was totally fine and we had a great day. We brought our lunches and ate in the lodge halfway through the day. That night we went to the temple with the Parcells and then went to La Jolla Groves for dinner. I got the chicken fettucine alfredo and it was really good. I want to go back to get that again. Their rolls are unbelievable too.
This week we watched the Bachelor at Casey and Ashley's house. She is on bed rest because she went into pre-term labor so we wanted to go over and keep her company and get in some of television's most quality entertainment. Lindsay's birthday was on Wednesday so the family went to Thai Drift for dinner. Tyler works with some guys at work that are in a band so went to the Awful Waffle on Thursday night to support them after I went to my spin class with Marin. Kim and Curtis met us there. They were really good and it was really fun! This Friday we went over to Marc and Courtney's and made homemade BBQ chicken pizza which was really, really good then watched a scary movie. Saturday I woke up and went skiing for a couple hours, then it was Ashley's baby shower at 2. After that I went to Osmond Designs and found a gorgeous mirrored chest then went to Dale and Chelsey's baby Summer's birthday party. Ty and I went to dinner at Mama Chu's on 8th north and it was delish! I had never been there before but always heard that it was good. I will definitely go back. Heather and Casey are in Costa Rica so the kids are staying at Walt and Carol's house. We took them to church today, then Ryker and I watched the Lorax in my bed until he fell asleep.
